It is taken as a favorable comment when someone is referred to as “a class act”. The positive impact of our life upon others is of utmost importance.

The scriptures speak to us concerning our life and walk; “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” 1 John 2(6) A walk pleasing to the Lord has far-reaching effects and will speak volumes to others., “When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16(7) We are challenged by the Holy Spirit in this regard as we look to the life of Samuel. “And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan even to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the Lord.” 1 Samuel 3(19-20)

May our lives be “a class act” that is, pleasing to the Lord and instrumental in reaching others for Christ!

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12(3)
