Ingredients

1   —   cup butter
1½ — cup sugar
2   —   eggs
1   —   teaspoon vanilla
2 1/8 — cups flour
1   —   teaspoon baking powder
½ —  teaspoon salt
2   —   cups quick cooking oats
1   —   cup raisins
1   —   cup coarsely chopped fresh or frozen cranberries
1   —   tablespoon grated orange peel
1   —   12 oz. pkg. vanilla chips

Directions

In bowl, mix cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
 Stir in oats, raisins, cranberries and orange peel. Stir in vanilla chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2” apart on greased baking sheets.

Bake at 375°F for 9 – 11 minutes or until done. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
